Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki has been revealed as the latest brand ambassador of State Drinks.
Under the terms of the agreement, the former women’s world number one will be the face of the energy drink brand’s marketing campaigns.
The two parties revealed the deal on their respective Instagram pages, accompanied by a video of the Wozniacki playing tennis before using one of the company’s products to hydrate. The partnership sees the 27-year-old add to her extensive endorsement portfolio, which includes contracts with Babolat, Rolex and Adidas.
Posting on her personal Instagram account, Wozniacki said: ‘Truly proud and excited that I am now partnering with my absolute favourite energy drink State!’
Despite being one of the most recognisable figures in women’s tennis, Wozniacki is still yet to win a Grand Slam, having been defeated in the US Open final on two occasions. She recently competed in the ongoing Wimbledon Championships, but was knocked out in the fourth round by Colleen Vandeweghe of the USA.
