World Archery has agreed a multi-media broadcast deal with Eurosport.

The partnership will see the pan-European network carry live coverage of the Archery World Cup Final in Paris and the World Archery Championships in Belek, Antayla on its Eurosport 2 channel. Highlights of all other World Cup events will also be shown, beginning with Stage 1 this week in Shanghai, China.

Eurosport will also run a campaign to promote archery, in association with World Archery partners Kia Motors and Longines, across its TV, online and mobile platforms throughout the year.

"We are confident that Eurosport will offer us a platform in which archery can continue to grow," said World Archery secretary general Tom Dielen. "I also would like to thank our sponsors that have generously supported us to expand the sport of archery to where it is currently: an important, established Olympic sport that deserves a place on a premier sports channel, such as, Eurosport."

Olivier Fisch, the Eurosport commercial director, added: "Following our positive experience with how archery was enjoyed by our viewers during the London 2012 Olympics we are pleased to be able to bring new archery programming on to Eurosport this summer. Eurosport can offer sports not only great exposure via television but also across our multi-media platform. Live action from the heart of Paris from the Archery World Cup final promises to be a very special televised event for new and existing fans."
