Biathlon: German brewery Erdinger has renewed its partnership with the International Biathlon Union for the upcoming World Cup series, taking the partnership up to its tenth anniversary next year.
Ice hockey: The Swiss Ice Hockey Cup has added water treatment and water technology systems company BWT AQUA AG to its roster of sponsors for the 2017/18 season. The deal was negotiated by the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup's official marketing partner, Infront Sports and Media.
Soccer: Irish soccer side Cork City have confirmed that German sportswear manufacturing giant Adidas will be their new kit provider for the next three years. The deal will begin with the 2018 season of the SSE Airtricity League, the top tier of Irish soccer.
College sports: College marketing rights firm Learfield has sealed a deal which will see Hunt Brothers Pizza become the official pizza of the University of North Carolina Athletics for the next five years, commencing with the forthcoming 2017/18 season.
Curling: Curling Canada has extended its relationship with the World Curling Federation in a deal that will see the men's and women's world championships held in the country in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
Lacrosse: Telecoms firm Comcast has paid a reported US$5 million for a new lacrosse franchise in Philadelphia, which will play in the National Lacross League (NLL). Comcast joins Alibaba co-founder Joe Tsai in investing in the league.
Cricket: South African cricket team the Hollywoodbets Dolphins will keep their name for a further three years after signing renewed terms with their title sponsor Hollwoodbets.
Tennis: Chinese technology firm Huawei has become the silver sponsor of next week's Dongfeng Motor Wuhan Open tennis tournament. The competition is the second-largest women's tennis tournament in China, after the China Open in Beijing.
Motorsport: Japanese tyre brand Yokohama has become the title sponsor of the 2018 National Off-Road Racing Association’s (NORRA) Mexican 1000, a five-day race through Mexico's Baja peninsula.
More motorsport: Gerber Collision & Glass has teamed up with Nascar Xfinity Series team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller to be the primary sponsor of driver Ross Chastain number four Chevrolet in this weekend's race at Chicagoland Speedway.
