Cycling: Brother UK, the British arm of the Japanese electronics company, will sponsor Team KGF, a new UK-based track cycling team. The squad will aim to compete in the International Cycling Union (UCI) Track World Cup in October as well as the upcoming UCI Class One events in Portugal, Switzerland and the Netherlands.  

Basketball: Toy manufacturer Simba Dickie Group has agreed a sponsorship deal with Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga top-tier club competition.

Rugby union: Manchester-based property agents Homes4u has extended its commercial agreement with English rugby union club Sale Sharks for a further year. It has, in addition, signed a personal endorsement deal with Tom Curry - England's youngest debutant since 2013 Rugby World Cup winner Jonny Wilkinson – for the 2017/2018 Aviva Premiership season.

Beach volleyball: 7Sports, the sports business division of German commercial broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Group, has acquired rights to the annual beach volleyball tour operated by the German Volleyball Federation (DVV).

Motorsport: Stock Car Brasil Championship driver Rubens Barrichello has sign a sponsorship deal with Hot Wheels and Uber. As part of the agreement, the former Formula One star has agreed to pick up passengers for the taxi firm in a bespoke BMW M3 Hot Wheels Uber on 2nd October.
