Vizio signs expected NBA Rookie of the Year
According to Sports Business Journal (SBJ), Los Angeles Clippers player Blake Griffin, who made headlines when he won the NBA's annual slam-dunk competition, has signed a personal endorsement deal with consumer electronics company Vizio.
SBJ reported that, under terms of the deal, Vizio will use the NBA forward's image 'on packaging, in print and in at least one television commercial.'
Financial terms of the agreement remain undisclosed.
Griffin, who is expected to be named as the NBA's Rookie of the Year has appeared in adverts for major brands including Subway, AT&T, Kia, Nike and Powerbar.
Earlier in the month collectables and memorabilia company Panini America re-signed Griffin to an exclusive long-term deal having initial partnered with the player, along with a host of other rookies, in the 2009 NBA season.
