Top-tier German soccer side VfB Stuttgart have extended their sponsorship agreement with beer brand Ensinger until the end of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season.
Under the terms of the new contract, Ensinger will continue to be Stuttgart’s official beverage partner, a role it has fulfilled since 1979. The renewal has come three years ahead of schedule and the brewery will remain as a fourth-tier partner of the club.
Ensinger will enjoy a strong brand presence through pitchside LED bands and step-and-repeat boards at Stuttgart’s home ground, the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The deal also includes the pourage rights to the bars and hospitality areas in the stadium.
Although the financial terms of the deal have not been released German industry outlet Sponsors.de reports that Ensinger should be paying Stuttgart a low six-figure amount.
Following a 2-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen last week Stuttgart have slipped to 13th in the Bundesliga table. Hannes Wolf’s side travel to sixth placed TSG Hoffenheim tomorrow night.
