Spanish top-tier soccer side Valencia CF have renewed their partnership with Blu Products until 2019.
The American telecommunications company will continue as Valencia’s shirt sponsor for the 2018/19 season, with its logo set to feature on the front of the La Liga outfit’s playing tops in all competitions during their centenary year.
Blu first partnered with Valencia in May 2017 in a deal believed to have been worth €3.2 million (US$3.8 million). The agreement was known to include an option to extend for a further season.
Samuel Ohev-Zion, director of Blu Products, said that the renewal with “a globally prestigious football club that has not disappointed with its vibrant season” was important for the brand.
Valencia finished 12th in La Liga in 2016/17, but have led a roaring 2017/18 campaign, currently sitting in third place and eight points behind leaders Barcelona. They suffered a rare defeat at the hands of Eibar on 16th December, and will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host Villarreal on Saturday.
