Under Armour has signed a deal with Top Rank for the Stadium Slugfest, a boxing match between Yuri Former and Miguel Cotto at Yankee Stadium.

Under Armour has signed a deal with Top Rank for the "Stadium Slugfest" held on Saturday 5th June. The "Stadium Slugest" is a boxing match between Yuri Former and Miguel Cotto for the junior middleweight title, held at Yankee Stadium in New York City.

Under Armour's logo has been placed in the centre of the ring used for the eight fights. Under Armour will also get in-ring mentions by Michael Buffer, signage in the boxers' corners and will run a commercial on the 6,000 square foot Yankee Stadium jumbotron, which will feature Michael Phelps, Lindsey Vonn, Brandon Jennings and Georges St. Pierre.

“We liked the opportunity of being part of the first fight in new Yankee Stadium and being live on HBO,” Under Armour’s senior VP of brand Steve Battista said. “We’re also focused on our current campaign of combine training and boxers go through a level of combine training that is levels above anything else.”

Yankee Stadium has been configured to seat 30,000 people for the fight.
