European soccer’s governing body, Uefa, has finalised a three-year rights deal with Cypriot IPTV service Cytavision.

The agreement provides the broadcaster with exclusive rights in Cyprus to the Uefa Champions League and Uefa Europa League club competitions for the 2018 to 2021 period.

The rights package includes live coverage of every match from each tournament, which this year featured top-tier Cypriot team Apoel, who finished last in their Champions League group, and another Cypriot First Division team, Apollon Limassol, who suffered the same fate in Group E of the Europa League.

Uefa currently awards just one Champions League place to Cyprus, while three spaces are allocated to Cypriot sides for the Europa League.
