Tennis: Swiss tennis star Stanislas Wawrinka has signed a renewed deal with transport company TVG Lyria. Wawrinka will remain as a brand ambassador of the rail operator for a further year.
Motorsport: Lifestyle apparel brand Grunt Style has signed up to support Spencer Boyd's move into Nascar. The clothing company will be the primary sponsor of Boyd's number seven Chevrolet at multiple races during the current Nascar Xfinity Series season.
Gymnastics: Fitnesswear and dancewear provider Freddy will continue to supply the Italian Gymnastics Federation (FGI) for a further four-year period, covering the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Horse racing: Betting website EquiLottery has entered into a partnership with the Ellis Park racecourse. The agreement will allow races from the Henderson, Kentucky track to be used in EquiLottery's live horse racing lottery games.
Table tennis: The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has signed a strategic cooperation with Sina Sports for both the ITTF's Chinese website and its social media presence on Sina Weibo, China's biggest social network. Sina Sports becomes the official media partner of cn.ITTF.com.
Sailing: The Uruguayan city of Punta del Este will be the first stop on the 2017/18 edition of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. After departing from Liverpool, UK, competitors will sail to the Atlantic port, arriving between 20th and 25th September, 2017.
Multiple sports: The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation (GOLDOC) has appointed Flight Centre Travel Group and ATPI Sports Events as its official authorised travel agents. The two firms have the exclusive rights in Austrialia and other Commonwealth territories to sell travel packages for next year's Games.
Rugby: English rugby player Alex Lozowski has become the first UK ambassador for training gear manufacturer Sixpad. The Saracens fly half will wear the company's product range and feature across its social media promotions.
