Tuesday’s Daily Deal Round-Up: Prior’s Aston Martin and more

Cycling: Former England cricketer Matt Prior’s One Pro Cycling team have agreed a two-year partnership with Aston Martin. The British luxury carmaker will design the UCI Continental-level squad’s clothing and will host the official launch of the outfit at its Dover Street showroom in London, UK.

More cycling: Rolf Prima has penned a multi-year agreement with the Race Across America (RAAM) to become the official wheel of the ultramarathon bicycle race, which sees riders compete over 3,000 miles in a non-stage format from the west coast to the east coast of the US.

Even more cycling: Financial company Liberty has secured the title sponsorship of the TransCape, one of South Africa’s top mountain bike stage races. The 2018 Liberty TransCape MTB Encounter gets underway on 4th February next year.  

Rugby: The Rugby Football League (RFL), the governing body for rugby league in England, has confirmed a new tie-up with Catapult Sports. Starting from 2018, the sports science and analytics company will provide its athlete performance monitoring platform for all 12 Super League clubs and the English national side, who lost the 2017 Rugby League World Cup final 6-0 to hosts Australia on Sunday.

More rugby: Australian rugby league club the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys have announced a multi-year deal with Techfront. The company, which delivers tailored digital sports and media solutions, will provide the National Rugby League (NRL) side with a host of technological assets in return for exposure on the front of the team’s playing shorts.  

Volleyball: Online bookmaker LV Bet has become an official partner of the top-tier Polish Women’s Volleyball League and PlusLiga, the highest level of men’s volleyball in the country. The betting company’s logo will appear on LED screens at all matches until the end of the current Polish volleyball season.

Soccer: Top-flight Nigerian soccer side Rivers United have renewed their shirt sponsorship deal with Eunisell for a further year. The global chemical and specialty fluid management company’s logo will continue to adorn the team’s playing tops for the duration of the new Nigerian Premier League season, which kicks off in January.

Tennis: Japanese IT services company NEC has extended its long-term sponsorship of the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) wheelchair tennis tournaments. The new agreement will run until 2020 and prolongs a partnership that dates back to 1992. 

Triathlon: British triathlete Tom Bishop has signed with sports sponsorship agency CMSeven. Bishop was recently selected to join the all-conquering Brownlee brothers, Alistair and Jonny, in representing England in the triathlon at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Skiing: EasyJet has launched a sponsorship deal with Ben Emsley, a member of the Great British Telemark Skiing team. The airline is providing flight support for the 20-year-old, who is also a student at the University of Bristol.
