Rugby: Top-tier English rugby union team Wasps have announced a new deal with Zeelo. The on-demand coach service will help local coach companies identify demand for new and popular routes to and from the Aviva Premiership outfit’s Ricoh Arena home for the duration of the partnership.

Ice hockey: Hockey Canada has finalised a four-year strategic partnership with office technology company Konica Minolta, which will support the day-to-day operations of the national governing body’s administrative offices in Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto.

Volleyball: The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) has extended its longstanding broadcast partnership with Polish commercial and pay-TV network Polsat, which has secured rights to the Volleyball Nations League and the Volleyball Challenger Cup events, as well as the 2020 and 2024 Olympic qualification tournaments, the 2022 FIVB Volleyball World Championships and the 2019 and 2023 editions of the FIVB Volleyball World Cup. 

Soccer: Second-tier English soccer club Brentford have signed a new agreement with local car dealership Porsche West London, which will collaborate with the Championship outfit on a number of event opportunities.

More soccer: The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), the governing body for soccer in Uganda, has announced a four-year media and commercial rights deal with local sports production and marketing company Sports Broadcasting. The contract will run until 2022 and is valued at US$3 million.

Bowls: British public service broadcaster the BBC will continue to broadcast the World Indoor Bowls Championships for another three years, extending a 39-year relationship with the competition. 

Motorsport: Isotonic beverage Hoist will be the official hydration partner of Nascar Xfinity Series outfit JD Motorsports for the duration of the 2018 season, and will also be on board the team’s Chevrolet Camaros as an associate sponsor for the entire campaign.

Multiple sports: Glasgow Airport has been confirmed as an official supporter of this summer’s Glasgow 2018 European Championships, which is being hosted jointly by the Scottish city and Berlin, Germany.

Martial arts: Retail forex broker RoboMarkets has announced that it has become an official sponsor of Belarusian Muay Thai fighter and kickboxing world champion Andrei Kulebin.

Gymnastics: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the International Parkour Federation (IPF) with the intention of protecting the autonomy of parkour.
