Tuesday’s Daily Deal Round-Up: Frank Warren, IMG and more

Boxing: Boxing promoter Frank Warren, whose stable of fighters includes Billy Joe Saunders, Carl Frampton and Lee Selby, has announced a global distribution deal with IMG. The sports media agency will represent Warren’s broadcast rights in all territories excluding the UK and North America.

More boxing: Online gambling company Mansion has become a sponsor of super-middleweight boxer George Groves for his all-British World Boxing Super Series semi-final against Chris Eubank Jr in Manchester on Saturday. The company is also sponsoring featherweight world champion Lee Selby for his bout against Josh Warrington on 19th May.

Cricket: Multinational OTT service YuppTV has picked up rights for the Hero Nidahas Trophy, an upcoming T20 tri-series between India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, which is hosting the tournament to celebrate its 70th year of independence. YuppTV will show all of the competition’s matches exclusively live in the USA, Canada, the Middle East and North Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, the UK and Europe. 

Golf: The PGA of Australia, the governing body for golf in the country, has named Australian Unity as its official health insurance partner.

More golf: British golfer David Horsey has signed a management and commercial representation agreement with the Lagardère Sports agency.

Handball: Top-tier German handball team SC DHfK Leipzig have extended their partnership with financial services giant Allianz, which will remain the Handball Bundesliga outfit’s shirt sponsor until 2021.

Martial arts: London-based mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Cage Warriors has teamed up with Isodiol International, which will supply the series’ athletes with its sport supplements, hydration and nutrition products.

Motorcycling: Motorcycling Australia has confirmed that financial services company Yamaha Motor Finance will return as the title sponsor of the Australian Superbike Championship for a fourth consecutive year.

Motorsport: The recently formed All Out Motorsports team has announced that digital engagement specialist TruClear Global will be the primary sponsor on Korbin Forrister’s number seven Toyota Tundra for the season-opening Nascar Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway this weekend.

Cycling: Team Wiggins, the British developmental cycling outfit founded by five-time Olympic gold medallist Bradley Wiggins, have teamed up with Canadian men’s and women’s technical athletic apparel brand Lululemon, which will be listed as the team’s yoga and mindfulness partner.

Wheelchair rugby: Thai duty-free giant King Power will be the title sponsor of the inaugural Wheelchair Rugby Quad Nations international tournament, which takes place in Leicester, UK between 9th and 11th March, and will feature Great Britain, Australia, the United States and Japan.
