Basketball: Global basketball governing body Fiba has signed a four-year live broadcast deal in Finland with national public service YLE. The package includes all games played by Finland's national team, as well as coverage of all Fiba events - including Fiba EuroBasket 2017, in which some of the group stages will be played in Helsinki, and action from the qualifiers and final round of the Fiba Basketball World Cup 2019 in China and Fiba EuroBasket 2021.

Also in basketball: Spain's Basketball Clubs Association (ACB) has agreed a partnership with Chinese digital giant Sina Sports. The deal will see coverage of the finals of the country's elite Liga Endesa carried on the platform, and on the Sina Weibo social network.

Mixed martial arts: Charter flights provider Mountain Lion Aviation has become the presenting sponsor of mixed martial arts collective Team Alpha Male.

Motorsport: Grill and grilling accessories manufacturer Weber has agreed a deal with Nascar team GMS Racing to serve as the primary sponsor of Ben Kennedy's number 96 Chevrolet Camaro for the Xfinity Series race at Michigan International Speedway on 17th June. One-race primary slots in the stock car series' second tier are believed to sell for around US$200,000.  

Ice hockey: English ice hockey team Nottingham Panthers have renewed their sponsorship deal with Solutions for Accounting and CRM. The financial and business management software provider has agreed a two-year extension with the  Elite Ice Hockey League outfit.

Golf: English golfer Luke Towler has renewed his personal endorsement deal with car dealership Budgen MG.

Handball: Swedish handball player Anna Lagerquist has agreed a personal endorsement deal with Salming. The 23-year-old will wear the footwear brand's shoes in training and matches and will appear in nationwide campaigns.

Cycling: The Polish Cycling Union (PZKol) has agreed a long-term sponsorship deal with oil refiner and petrol retailer PKN Orlen. The partnership runs until after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and will see PKN provide support to Polish road and mountain cyclists.
