Motorcycling: Italian action sports company Acerbis has agreed a deal with the Dorna WSBK Organization to become the title sponsor of the season-ending Qatari round of motorcycling's 2017 Motul FIM Superbike World Championship, having already put its name to the Dutch round in April. The event in Doha, which will take place from 2nd to 4th November, will now be known as the Acerbis Qatar Round.

Also in motorcycling: The organisers of the Monster Energy AUS-X Open Sydney motocross event have renewed their sponsorship deal with Yamaha Motor Australia for a third year. The event will be held at the city's Qudos Bank Arena on 11th and 12th November.

Horse racing: Commercial property, risk and construction organisation Wigley Group has agreed a three-year deal with the UK's Jockey Club to sponsor Warwick Racecourse for the next three years. The deal comes after the company was involved in the construction of the Coronation Club for premium members at the venue.

Bowling: US broadcaster CBS Sports Network has agreed a two-year renewal of its deal with the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and will continue to screen top events including the US Open stepladder finals and the Professional Women’s Bowling Association (PWBA) Tour majors.

Triathlon: Endurance sports nutrition brand Science in Sport has agreed a partnership with USA Triathlon until 2020. The London-based company will make official energy gel and energy bar products for the governing body.

Badminton: Equipment manufacturer Yonex will be the title sponsor of the Internationaux de France de Badminton tournament for the next four years. The next edition of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) World SuperSeries event will run from 23rd to 28th October 2018.

Basketball: Brazil's National Basketball League (LNB) has secured sponsorship from Infraero for the 2017/18 season of the top-tier NBB. The commercial airport operator will be associated with the league finals and the Jogo das Estrelas all-star game.

Also in basketball: British Basketball League (BBL) champions Leicester Riders have signed a sponsorship deal with electrical contractor Ventola Projects for the 2017/18 season.

Sailing: Specialist apparel company Zhik has expanded its deal with Australian Sailing to become a partner and supplier of the 2017 Sail Melbourne International regatta, which takes place from 29th November to 3rd December.

Motorsport: The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) has signed a deal to make E3 Spark Plugs the title sponsor of the 12-race NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series in 2018.
