American Ironman triathlete Timothy O'Donnell has signed a personal endorsement deal with Multiple Energy Technologies, the makers of the Bio Power bioceramic technology.
The company claims its products harness the ‘therapeutic effects of bioceramics, ultrafine mineral particles extracted from the Amazon rainforest that have photo-thermal properties.’ Those materials are then integrated into apparel and other products to boost energy and aid recovery.
O'Donnell, the 2012 Ironman 70.3 US Pro Champion ,has begun using a Bio Power Band during training.

"Preparing for an Ironman requires intense, long duration training sessions,” said the 32-year-old. “Whether it's running, biking or swimming, I need to recover fast so I'm ready for the next challenge.
"The results of Bio Power speak for themselves. The fact that my Bio Power Band has made the transition from training to everyday gear speaks volumes to me."
The next event in which O’Donnell will compete is the Ironman Brasil in Florianopolis on the Island of Santa Catarina on 26th May.
