American swimmers Dara Torres and Mark Gangloff have agreed new personal endorsement agreements with Koss Headphones and Swimoutlet.com respectively.

Torres' agreement sees the 45-year-old and twelve-time Olympic medalist signing a three-year deal with Koss and in doing so will help the company design its first ever line of products for women.

"I have been listening to music with headphones as a regular part of my day for as long as I can remember. Headphones allow me to escape to a place free of all distraction," said Torres. "The opportunity to partner with Koss is a terrific way to help develop active lifestyle products that I know women will love."

Koss president and chief executive Michael J. Koss added, "Not only is Dara known as one of the most decorated Olympians in US history, but she is a music lover and also admired for balancing motherhood with a career as an author and as a specialist in life fitness."

Swimoutlet's deal with Gangloff meanwhile will see the online swimming retailer featuring the two-time Olympic gold medallist in a range of marketing promotions and appearances on behalf of the brand.

In return for endorsing the Swimoutlet brand, Gangloff will be able to choose from the company's range or high-performance swimming products and training gear for his own competitive purposes.

"While most elite athletes are locked into wearing one brand or using one company for their technical equipment, we are partnering with Mark on a totally unique concept," said Swimoutlet chief marketing officer Alexander Sienkiewicz. "We are enabling him to use and compete in any brand he chooses for his performance needs. No retailer in America can offer a broader selection of performance swimwear for aspiring Olympians and other budding stars than SwimOutlet.com."
