Mexican top-tier soccer side Tigres UANL have announced a partnership with Grupo Televisa.
The Mexican mass media company has agreed a five-year deal to broadcast all the Tigres’ home games in the Liga MX.
The new agreement includes both pay-TV and free-to-air coverage in Mexico.
“Televisa has supported the Tigres in good times and bad,” said Alejandro Rodríguez, president of the Tigres.
Tigres UANL are second in the 2017 Liga MX Apertura, the first championship of the 2017/18 season, after claiming nine wins from 16 games. They beat Club Necaxa 1-0 at home on 5th November and will take on CF Monterrey on 19th November.
