Ticketek has been appointed as the official ticket provider for the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The ticketing company, which has existing operations in both countries, has agreed a deal with organisers to manage ticket sales and distribution for the tournament.
John Hamden, the chief executive of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, said: "Ticketek will enable us to give fans a seamless solution across the two countries and worldwide."
"Ticketek is the leading ticketing provider in Australia and New Zealand for major events and sports," said Ticketek chief executive Geoff Jones. "We will be using the latest innovations for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 to ensure fans in both countries - and around the world - have the very best experience."
New sponsor for Royal Challengers
Elsewhere in the sport, Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore have agreed a deal with fruit brand Washington Apples.
The company will become the official fruit partner of the team, who have won three of their opening five games in IPL 6, with campaigns used to promote six of its varieties of apples during the 2013 season.
Meanwhile, the broadcaster and former England captain Alec Stewart is to serve as a brand ambassador for money transfer company MoneyGram for a second year.
