Ice hockey: German Ice Hockey League (DEL) side Eisbären Berlin have extended their partnership with construction firm Heinz von Heiden. The company will remain as the team's front-of-shirt sponsor for a further two years.

Basketball: Volkswagen Financial Services, the financial services subsidiary of the automotive giant, has become the sole main sponsor of German Basketball Bundesliga outfit Löwen Braunschweig. The partnership runs for two years and could be worth a total of €1.5 million to the side, according to Sponsors.de.

Rugby: Multinational professional services firm Deloitte has become the principal sponsor of Ulster Women's Rugby. Deloitte's logo will appear on the club's playing shirts for the next two years.

More rugby: Thomas Cook Sports, the sports tour operator of travel agency Thomas Cook, has been confirmed as an official partner of English rugby union side Sale Sharks. The company will fulfil the Aviva Premiership outfit's global travel requirements. The Sharks' Tongan international prop Halani Aulika has also become a personal ambassador for Thomas Cook Sports.

Motorsport: Car maintenance company Zombie Auto will service at the primary sponsor of JJ Yeley's number 14 Toyota at the upcoming Nascar Xfinity Series race at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

More motorsport: Formula 1 Powerboats will return to the British capital of London for the first time in over 30 years in 2018. The organisers of the F1H20 World Championship powerboat racing series have struck a deal to race at the Royal Victoria Docks on 16th and 17th June next year.

Surfing: The International Surfing Association (ISA) has secured a deal to keep clothing brand Stance as the title sponsor of its World Adaptive Surfing Championship for a further two years.
