Netball: England Netball has teamed up with sports performance analytics company Catapult Sports. The team will use 20 of the brand’s T6 devices to measure and optimise their performance in the build-up to the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2019 Netball World Cup.

Golf: The Asian Tour’s Singapore Open has retained Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) as its title sponsor for another three years. The original contract was due to expire after this year’s edition of the tournament, which got underway on Thursday and runs until Sunday.

Martial arts: American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Bellator MMA has partnered with wireless carrier Boost Mobile to offer exclusive 360-degree virtual reality (VR) content during televised events.

Multiple sports: Commonwealth Games England has confirmed that Millbrook Beds will be the official sleep partner of Team England at Gold Coast 2018.

Motorsport: Engineering product manufacturer Horizon Global Corporation has partnered with motorsport outfit Team Penske to become the primary sponsor of Brad Keselowski’s number two Ford Fusion during two top-tier Nascar Cup Series races in 2018. Keselowski will also carry the company’s branding as an associate sponsor for the entire season.

Motorcycling: MotoGP team Pramac Racing has announced that Alma will be its title sponsor for the next three seasons. The agency replaces software company Octo in the role.

Agencies: Sports and marketing agency Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group (TSSEG) has complete the takeover of luxury celebrity, fashion and corporate events company, Julie Perry Events (JPE).

Boxing: The International Boxing Association (Aiba) has named Sting as the official equipment supplier for the 2018 season of the World Series of Boxing. All boxers competing in the city team-based amateur international competition will wear gloves supplied by the Australian brand, which is also the official supplier of boxing equipment for April’s Commonwealth Games.

More boxing: US boxer Jamel Herring has ended his longstanding partnership with Al Haymon to sign a promotional deal with Top Rank. The former Olympian has not fought since July 2016, when he was stopped in ten rounds by Russia’s Denis Shafikov.

College sports: Peanut butter candy brand Reese’s will continue to be the title sponsor of the Reese’s Senior Bowl, an annual post-season college football all-star game which showcases the best National Football League (NFL) Draft prospects.

Equestrian: The annual Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) has unveiled fashion brand Hermès as the title sponsor of its Under 25 Grand Prix Series in 2018. The competition will span a total of five weeks between January and March.

Soccer: Telecoms company Elsys has renewed its partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the governing body for soccer in Brazil, to remain an official sponsor of both Campeonato Brasileiro Série B and Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, the second and third tiers of the sport in the country. 

More soccer: Marathon is the new kit supplier of top-flight Peruvian soccer side Club Universitario de Deportes. The Ecuadorian brand will provide the Peruvian Primera División team with playing kits for the next four seasons.
