Rugby: English rugby league club Hull FC have agreed a six-figure, multi-year shirt sponsorship deal with Goldthorpe Property Group. The company's logo will appear on the front of the 2017 Challenge Cup winners' matchday jerseys from the start of the 2018 Super League season.
Also in rugby: Energy provider Npower has become a sponsor of English top-tier rugby union club Wasps and of their Ricoh Arena home ground in Coventry. The deal will see Npower install a combined heat and power plant at the venue to allow Wasps to generate their own electricity on site and supply the heating and under-pitch heating systems.
College sports: TicketIQ has become the presenting sponsor of the Gotham Classic college basketball event at New York's Madison Square Garden. It will also be the official ticketing partner of the tournament, and of the 2K Classic at the same venue and the Legends Classic at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, in a deal agreed by Gazelle Group.
Swimming: World Para Swimming has confirmed that Allianz will be the title sponsor of its European Championships at the National Sports Campus Dublin next August. The insurance giant is already a major global partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Cycling: The organisers of the Six Day Series track cycling championship have retained the services of Aurora Media Worldwide as host broadcaster for the 2017/18 season. The London-based company will continue to produce coverage for Eurosport for upcoming events in the British capital, Berlin in Germany and Mallorca, Spain.
Motorsport: Virgin Australia Supercars team Triple Eight Racing have agreed a two-year sponsorship deal with Autobarn. The car parts and accessories retailer will be the primary partner of Craig Lowndes' number 888 Holden from 2018.
Soccer: Third-tier Italian soccer side Livorno have agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with sailing group Toremar. The club will also use the company's vessels for travel within the islands of Sardinia.
