Golf: San Antonio-based energy group Valero has renewed its title sponsorship of the Texas Open PGA Tour golf tournament. The new ten-year deal begins with the 2019 championship.

Equestrianism: Pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim has become the equine health partner and campus partner of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). 

Squash: The Professional Squash Association (PSA) has renewed its broadcast deal with Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad (Astro) as the official Malaysian broadcast partner of the PSA World Tour until 2021.

Soccer: The Italian Serie A women’s soccer competition, whose 2017/18 season began last weekend, will be streamed on social network Facebook after no TV deal was put in place. Coverage will also be carried on the official league website.

Rugby union: The Cuddy Group has signed a two-year commercial partnership with Pro14 rugby union team the Dragons. The deal will see the demolition company become the lower-back-of-shirt sponsor of the Welsh region’s home and away jerseys for the remainder of the 2017/18 season and the 2018/19 campaign.

Motorsport: Night Owl Contractors will be the primary sponsor of Nascar driver Ryan Sieg’s car for the 2017 Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on 7th October. The American’s number 39 RSS Racing (JGR) livery will carry a bespoke paint scheme.
