Cycling: Five-time Olympic gold medallist Bradley Wiggins has teamed up with cycling apparel brand Le Col to launch his own bespoke clothing line. The retired rider, 37, will be fully involved in the product development and design of Le Col by Wiggins, which will launch later this year.

Cricket: Somerset County Cricket Club have announced that national law firm Clarke Willmott will remain their official legal partner for another two years.

Basketball: Beer brand San Miguel has partnered with Philippine basketball team Alab Pilipinas to replace Tanduay as the ASEAN Basketball League club’s title sponsor.   

Motorsport: Stock car racing organisation Nascar's teams are reportedly working on an esports venture of their own, just weeks after it was revealed that tracks in the sport are working on a separate venture to stage racing video game tournaments during event weekends.

More basketball: US car giant Jeep has reportedly secured a deal to become the title sponsor of French basketball’s top-tier Pro A from the beginning of the 2018/19 season.

Motorsport: IndyCar Series outfit Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing has signed a multi-year deal with lubricants brand Total Quartz, which last teamed up with a team from the American open-wheel championship in 1992.

Martial arts: Thai equipment company Fairtex has agreed a multi-year deal with global kickboxing promotion Glory to become the series’ official glove provider.

Agencies: The We Are Social global media agency has launched We Are Social Sport in the UK, with founding clients including German sportswear brand Adidas, OTT streaming service DAZN and a number of Premier League soccer clubs.

Softball: The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced the launch of re-formatted Softball World Cup to replace the current Softball World Championships across all categories.
