Three new endorsers join Steve Nash at Liquid Nutrition
Liquid Nutrition, the Canadian smoothie and vitamin brand of which Phoenix Suns guard Steve Nash is a partner, has added a further three top athletes to its endorsement roster.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, Norwegian golfer Suzzann Pettersen and Torah Bright, the Australian snowboarder who won a gold medal in the halfpipe at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, have all been announced as equity partners and endorsers of Liquid Nutrition.
Ryan, Pettersen and Bright will be used to help grow the brand alongside Nash and New York Yankees catcher Russell Martin, who became partners in Liquid Nutrition earlier this year. A sixth athlete, a National Hockey League player, will be unveiled after the Stanley Cup playoffs finish in June.
Currently centered in Montreal, Liquid Nutrition’s group president and chief executive Glenn Young has outlined an interest in expanding the brand into 35 new markets across North America, with a specific focus on the south-east and Atlanta, particularly relevant given the signing of Ryan.
The six chosen endorsers will form the heart of Liquid Nutrition’s advertising and corporate marketing, with focused campaigns in the local markets where each athlete is based.
