Third partnership in a month for sponsorship-happy FITA
The International Archery Federation (FITA) has revealed TFORS, the brand name of Technology for Sports, as World Archery's new technology sponsor.
FITA President Prof Ugur Erdener made the official announcement of the new one-year deal during a visit to the federation’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. This is the third major announcement made by the federation since the beginning of June, following a new licensing programme for archery equipment and the launch of the World Archery brand.
TFORS is a new Turkish event services company that provides integrated technology solutions for event organisers.
As part of the deal, the company will provide all the accreditation and results services onsite and online. TFORS will also produces TV graphics, as well as the web infrastructure and applications needed for media coverage of all FITA archery events.
Erdener said, “We are very pleased to welcome TFORS as a new archery sponsor. TFORS increases our operational efficiency and the attractiveness of our events by providing integrated IT solutions tailored to our needs. Their one-stop offering saves us significant time. With TFORS co-ordinating all our technological needs, it certainly frees us to focus on more important sporting issues.”
