Teleclub nets Swiss rights to top European soccer
Pay television operator Teleclub has acquired a package of rights to the Uefa Champions League and Uefa Europa League in Switzerland covering the 2012 to 2015 cycle.
The network has been granted the rights to all Champions League matches and will broadcast all matches live across its family of Teleclub Sport pay channels, as well as a highlights programme each match night.
Teleclub has also been granted all rights to the Europa League and will air at least two matches from each kick-off slot on a live basis across the same family of pay channels, followed by a weekly highlights programme.
All rights have been awarded on a platform-neutral basis, which means Teleclub will be able to exploit them online and on mobile.
A further announcement regarding the sale of the remaining rights to both competitions in Switzerland will be made by Uefa in due course.
