Tampa Bay Lightning has announced a partnership with Venutize to launch a new app for fans visiting the NHL franchise’s Amalie Arena.

The mobile technology company have launched the new app on iOS and Android that allows users to purchase tickets, pay at concessions and for merchandise, as well as plan their visits for Lightning home games.

One of the key features in the Amalie Arena app is a mobile wallet, which also provides Lightning season ticket holders with discounts that they are able to transfer to other guests when they forward their event tickets, all without the need for a physical discount card.

Additionally, card holders with franchise partners JPMorgan Chase will also receive $25 in ‘Amalie Arena cash’ by uploading a JPMorgan Chase credit or debit card to the mobile wallet.

The app extends beyond just Lightning home games. The platform provides users a home to venue serice when visiting the Amalie Arena, delivering the capability to search for events at the venue by type; purchase, use, and forward tickets; as well as access to upgrades and experiences at the arena.
