London-based cricket club Surrey CCC have unveiled a new deal with global sportswear manufacturer Adidas ahead of the 2017 county season.
Adidas will design, manufacture and market replica and matchday kit for Surrey across the Twenty20, one-day and County Championship formats.
Adidas, which will replace former partner Under Armour, will also create a collection of unique performance training gear for all of Surrey’s players.
“We are delighted to be able to announce our new kit and training wear partner,” said Surrey CCC director of cricket Alec Stewart.
“The agreement emphasises the desire for Surrey CCC to ensure the highest possible standards in all areas. Adidas will deliver the very latest apparel technologies which will ensure the team can perform to their fullest potential.”
Surrey currently have a number of players involved in the England national teams, with David Batty and Zafar Ansari with the senior Test team, twins Tom and Sam Curran with the England Lions development squad, and leading England one-day international batsman Jason Roy at a winter training camp ahead of January’s three-match away series in India.
