Stubhub sponsors the Florida Gators
The online ticketing company Stubhub has been announced as the latest sponsor of the Florida Gators, the name that the University of Florida’s athletic teams compete under.
As a sponsor of the university's intercollegiate sports teams, Stubhub will feature prominently across team football and basketball initiatives, additionally Stubhub's sponsorship of the Gators will include in-game signage, radio sports as well as online elements.
Danielle Maged, Stubhub head of partnership and business development, said the company was "thrilled to team with the Florida Gators as a proud sponsor." Adding, "Gator fans are among the most passionate and loyal in all of sports and we look forward to marketing our services to them."
Cathy Weeden, vice president and general manager of the Gator Sports Marketing, an IMG College property, said, "We are excited to add Stubhub to our elite list of sponsorship partners. We thank Stubhub for its commitment to college athletics and look forward to showcasing their services to fans throughout the state and country."
Financial details of the new deal were not released.
