Organisers of the Stena Match Cup Sweden, a popular stage on the Alpari World Match Racing Tour, have announced that IT and management consulting firm HiQ will serve as the event’s IT partner for 2014.
The agreement will see the Swedish technology company create a new website for the 20-year-old event.
“We are very happy to enter this partnership with HiQ because our digital platform is very important and we want to take every opportunity to interact with our fans and provide news from the event,” said Jan Torstenson, the chief executive of event co-organisers Brandspot.
“Mobile and digital solutions are now key factors for events weather they are focused on sports or entertainment. With our long experience in digital communication, and experts who can create the most user-friendly and innovative services, we look forward to helping Stena Match Cup take another step forward,” added HiQ chif executive Jerker Lindstén.
HiQ joins the likes of Stena, Turkish Airlines, Volvo and Samsung as a partner of the event.
