Tottenham Hotspur have announced a deal with global online betting company 1XBet to become the top-flight English soccer club’s official betting partner in Africa.
As part of the long-term agreement, 1XBet will have an advertising presence within Tottenham’s new stadium on the pitch’s LED perimeter boards, while also featuring on the club’s website and digital channels.
Spurs have official supporters’ clubs in Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa, and 1XBet are offering the club’s fans in the continent the chance to win a signed shirt if they can correctly predict the name of the club’s first home goalscorer of the season.
Fran Jones, head of partnerships at Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are delighted to welcome 1XBet to the Tottenham Hotspur partner family and look forward to working with them to engage with and grow our African fanbase.”
Eugene Kiryukhin, 1XBet’s director for development of international partners, added: “We are thrilled to sign with Tottenham Hotspur, they have impressed us with their vision for the future, their players, their new stadium and we are committed to helping each other grow in Africa. We look forward to working alongside and supporting them.”
This is 1XBet’s second partnership with a Premier League side in recent times, following a deal last week with Cardiff City to become the club’s global betting partner.
