In Spain, pay-TV broadcaster Canal Satelite Digital (Digital+) and free-to-air commercial channel Telecinco will share the rights to the Uefa Europa League for the next three seasons.

As in Portugal, the free-to-air channel has secured the first choice live match, as well as a highlights package and coverage of the final.

Remaining live matches, as well as a highlights programme and delayed match coverage, will be shown on various Digital+ channels.

Uefa General Secretary David Taylor said: "We are delighted to announce these exciting deals with Telecinco and Canal Satelite Digital in Spain."

He added: "Spanish sides have performed impressively in the competition, providing the eventual winners three times in the last five seasons and an all-Spanish final in 2006/07 between Sevilla FC and RCD Espanyol.

"These partnerships represent fantastic news for Spanish fans because they ensure excellent exposure and quality coverage of Spanish clubs in the competition."
