Soul good for Jets star Tebow
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has become the latest high-profile athlete to sign up as a brand ambassador for Soul Electronics.
In addition to featuring in the brand’s ‘Soul of Greatness’ video series and campaign, which launched in early June, the 24-year-old, who moved to the Jets from the Denver Broncos in March, will make appearances on behalf of the brand throughout the upcoming NFL season and will help develop his own specially branded Soul products.
Tebow joins other big-name athletes on Soul’s endorsement roster, including the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, Euro 2012 winner Cesc Fabregas and NBA star Dwight Howard.
"Tebow is a perfect role model for our Soul of Greatness campaign and our company," said Len Davi, chief marketing officer of Soul Electronics. "He is a relatable, hardworking overachiever who exemplifies true greatness and integrity on and off the football field."
Tebow, ranked ninth in SportsPro’s 2012 list of the world’s most marketable athletes, added: "Before a game, I throw on my headphones and listen to music to help me get focused and motivated. It's why I'm so proud to be representing Soul, helping spread the word that greatness can be achieved from within."
