Snapchat has partnered with the Australian Football League (AFL).
Under the terms of the agreement, the social media giant will showcase selected games throughout the 2017 men's season, including the season-ending Grand Final. AFL teams, players and fans will take part in the app's picture-compiling feature ‘Our Story’ and each team's home stadium will also provide a Geofilter for fans.
Snapchat previously covered the 2016 AFL Grand Final and this year’s AFL Women's season opener. The financial terms of the multi-year agreement have not been released.
"These partnerships ensure the Australian sports fan can engage with content relevant to their interests and see a side of their favourite leagues and tournaments like never before, thanks to the mix of 'inside access' as well as fan-submitted Snaps that make up an 'Our Story,'” said a Snapchat spokesperson.
