Chinese media giant Sina Sports has confirmed an agreement with the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) to become an official partner of The Championships, Wimbledon for the next three editions.
Beginning with the 2017 tournament and running until 2019, Sina will help to promote Wimbledon in China, delivering news, highlights, live scores and other exclusive content via its popular Sina Weibo social platform.
Furthermore, Sina will offer Chinese tennis fans the chance to directly interact with the stars of Wimbledon in question-and-answer sessions hosted on Weibo.
The 2017 edition of Wimbledon begins on 3rd July. Britain's Andy Murray will be looking to defend his men's singles title, while the women's will be up for grabs as year's winner, Serena Williams, takes a hiatus from the game during her pregnancy.
