Top-flight Spanish soccer side Sevilla have unveiled online gambling firm Betfair as their new sleeve sponsor.
The two-year deal, which also sees Betfair become the global betting partner of Sevilla, will see the company’s logo appear on the left sleeve of the La Liga outfit’s home, away and third playing tops until the end of the 2019/20 season. Betfair will also serve as the main sponsor of the club’s training kits for the same period.
“This partnership announcement has allowed us to make another step in Sevilla FC´s commercial growth,” said Sevilla’s marketing director, Ramon Loarte. “We are pleased to welcome such a famous brand as Betfair to our club, not only as our exclusive global betting partner, but also as our official sleeve and training kit partner. We look forward to a long partnership together.”
The tie-up adds to Betfair’s extensive soccer portfolio, which includes deals with the likes of Spanish giants Barcelona, Italian champions Juventus and English side Arsenal.

Sevilla play Barcelona in the curtain-raising Spanish Super Cup fixture in Tangier, Morocco on Sunday, before opening their La Liga campaign away to Rayo Vallecano on 19th August.
