Home-décor company Scisky has agreed a longterm sponsorship agreement with the Houston Rockets.
The five-year, wide-ranging deal will see the China based manufacturers granted visibility across the NBA team's Toyota Center arena.
Former Houston Rockets' star player and NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming, acting as an official spokesperson for Scisky, said the deal was another opportunity for the game to grow in his homeland. "I am happy to see the beginning of a new partnership; I wish both teams will achieve great results, no matter on the court or in business," Yao added.
Rockets chief executive Ted Brown added: "The Rockets' ability to grow globally through [Yao's] sheer greatness was very evident from the beginning from playing the first China game to the number of games broadcast over the years in China."
With the fourth best win record in the NBA, the Rockets are currently enjoying a strong 2016/17 season.
