Schüco has extended its main sponsorship of German second-tier soccer side Arminia Bielefeld.
The window and door manufacture's will continue its shirt sponsorship of all the club's senior and junior teams for the 2017/2018 season. In addition, Schüco has extended its 13-year naming rights agreement to Arminia's 28,000-seater home stadium. The ground will be known as the Schüco Arena until the end of the 2019/2020 season.
"This clear and early commitment makes our plans for the new season easier and gives us an enormous positive backwind for the exciting season finale," said Arminia Biefeld's commercial director, Gerrit Meinke.
Schüco hopes the agreement will go some way to assuring fans that the club has no plans to move the stadium from its current site in Bielefeld.
Arminia Bielefeld have endured a difficult season as they face possible relegation from 2. Bundesliga. The team currently sit bottom of the table with ten games left to play.
