Scarlets convert Enzo’s Homes deal

Top-tier Welsh rugby union side the Scarlets have announced a new one-year partnership with Enzo’s Homes.

The house construction firm will serve as the main sponsor of the Pro14 outfit’s away shirts for the duration of the 2017/18 season, in a deal which will see the company’s logo printed across the chest of all first team away tops.

Enzo’s Homes will also become the back-of-shirt sponsor of the Llanelli-based club’s home jerseys, with WRW Construction’s branding adorning the front of the tops.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Phil Morgan, chief operating officer for the Scarlets, said; “Enzo's Homes is a highly respected company in West Wales and we're very pleased to be welcoming Enzo and his team to the Scarlets.

“It’s a very exciting time to be involved with the Scarlets as we look to build on last season's success. The team delivered championship-winning performances on the field last season and we're delighted to be welcoming award-winning companies to the Scarlets family.

“Having two companies of stature featuring prominently on both home and away jerseys for the forthcoming season is something we're particularly excited about and look forward to working closely with them over the coming months.”

Enzo Sauro, owner of Enzo’s Homes, added: “We're very excited to be joining the Scarlets family and are delighted to be supporting a championship winning team. The Scarlets is a team and brand that we're all proud of in West Wales and we at Enzo's Homes are honoured to be associated with the region as we head into another thrilling new season.”

The Scarlets were crowned champions of the Pro12 for the first time in 2016/17. The pan-European league has since been rebranded as the Pro14, with South African sides the Cheetahs and the Southern Kings added to the competition after being axed from Super Rugby. The Scarlets begin their title defence at home to the Southern Kings on 2nd September.
