The Sannella family has purchased newly promoted Italian soccer team Foggia Calcio.
Sannella Holdings, which previously owned 50 per cent of the Serie C side, bought the remaining shares from Massimo Curci, who will now serve as Foggia's vice president.
As part of the deal, the money generated from the sale of the shares will be directly invested into the club.
"Football clubs must only be managed by one person… and I have had little chance to make my time available to Foggia," said Curci.
After a successful 2016/2017 season, Foggia secured promotion to Serie B for the first time in 19 years.
