The San Jose Earthquakes have entered into a partnership with data company TigerLogic Corporation.
The Major League Soccer (MLS) club have already installed TigerLogic’s Postano social media integration platform throughout their new home stadium, which hosted its first Earthquakes home game last Sunday.
Postano, TigerLogic’s flagship product, is integrated into Avaya Stadium’s video board and concourse screens, showcasing social media content generated by Earthquakes supporters during games.
"Integrating the Postano Platform provides us with the opportunity to activate our passionate fan base and leverage the social content they create," said Jed Mettee, the Earthquakes’ vice president of marketing and communications.
"Showcasing the best posts in real time during our games allows us to create a better experience for our fans by connecting them with both the Earthquakes community and the team."
The Earthquakes opened their new home with a 2-1 win over Chicago Fire last weekend. Their next league game is a trip to the New England Revolution on Saturday.
