Ryan Hall gets Pacebands endorsement
US Olympic marathon runner Ryan Hall has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Pacebands.
Pacebands produce reusable silicone bands that aim to help distance runners keep to their target pace by giving them a suggested split time for each mile or kilometre.
"We are incredibly proud to have attracted an athlete of Ryan's calibre to our organisation," said Gretchen Fishman, Pacebands managing director.
"Having the fastest American marathoner, someone who has run 2:04:58, interested in what you are doing is incredibly gratifying. It means that we were onto something when we created Pacebands."
Hall added, "I like the bands because I can use them during my training sessions and races. They are great because they are reusable and I don't even notice they are on my wrist. Meanwhile, I can always look down at my target PR finish time for inspiration when I am out on a run. I can also use bands with different paces for different workouts."
Hall finished tenth in marathon at the Beijing Olympics; he is the current US record holder over both the full and half marathon.blog comments powered by Disqus
