Rugby League World Cup brings in major sponsor

Isuzu has become a major partner of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.

The Japanese carmaker will be the official automotive partner of the tournament, which will be held across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea from 27th October to 2nd December. The partnership entitles Isuzu to on-field, LED and in-venue branding for all games played in Australia and New Zealand, while it will also be able to promote its association with the tournament on official digital and social media platforms and through its own dealer networks.

"With the world’s best rugby league players contesting the sport’s marquee international event, it’s wonderful to have the support of such a renowned global brand," said Richard Hill, chief executive of local organiser RLWC2017.

“As the tournament’s organising committee, we made a deliberate decision to take the event as far and wide as we possibly could, so it’s very fitting that Isuzu UTE Australia – with dealerships across the country – have become the official automotive partner of the Rugby League World Cup 2017.”
