The Roush Fenway Racing (RFR) Nascar team have extended their partnerships with industrial supply company Fastenal, financial services firm Fifth Third Bank and the SunnyD beverage brand until 2021.

Under the terms of the agreements, the three companies will continue to serve as primary sponsors of the number 17 Ford driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr in the top-tier Nascar Cup Series, covering 85 per cent of the cars inventory.

Fastenal, which first teamed up with the stock car racing outfit in 2010, has also committed to being a primary sponsor for an increased number of races. Fifth Third Bank has been an RFR partner since 2012, while SunnyD came on board in 2016.

RFR president Steve Newmark said: “We’re extremely proud of our relationships with Fastenal, Fifth Third and SunnyD, both personally and professionally, and we’ve been fortunate to work with each to provide on-track performance and solid marketing solutions based on their varied goals and objectives.

“Strong partners are the foundation to the success of any Nascar team and we believe we have the best in the sport. Every employee of Roush Fenway recognises what these companies do for us, on and off the track, and we’re honoured to have all three of these top-level brands committed to our program for many years to come.”
