Top-flight Argentinian soccer side Rosario Central have revealed TCL as their new main sponsor.
The deal will see the multinational company’s logo adorn the chest and back of the Primera División team’s playing shirts.
Additionally, the electronics brand will receive significant advertising space inside the club’s Estadio Gigante de Arroyito, and the two parties will collaborate on a variety of commercial activations.
“We are very pleased to establish a new business link with a brand of prestige and leadership like TCL,” said Raúl Broglia, president of Rosario Central. “For two years we have been working with a very strong commercial and technological strategy, understanding that the Rosario Central brand is one of the most important in sports in Argentina.”
“In that sense, establishing such an alliance with a technology company is not a fluke. This reinforces all the concepts we are working on in this management and we will continue to push for the club to continue growing. We are very happy with this alliance and thank TCL for relying on our project.”
Gustavo Vázquez, TCL’s commercial manager in Argentina, added: “For TCL, it is an enormous pleasure to have closed this agreement with a club as big as Rosario Central and allows us to continue boosting our strategy of linking the brand with sports. We are certain that this is the beginning of an alliance that will bring us great joy to both the TCL family and the Rosario Central family.”
Rosario Central finished 12th in the Primera División in 2016/17, narrowly missing out on qualification for the 2018 Copa Conmebol Sudamericana, South America’s second-tier international club competition.
