American tennis player CiCi Bellis has signed a deal that will see her endorse nutritional supplements company AdvoCare.
The 18-year-old Californian, who is currently ranked 48 in the world, will make personal appearances and feature in social media marketing and promotions for the company, under a deal negotiated by her representatives at IMG Tennis.
The new agreement comes after a breakout year on the WTA Tour for Bellis, who reached the third round of the French Open and defeated two top-ten players on her way to receiving the tour’s Newcomer of the Year award for 2017.
“I am excited to partner with AdvoCare, a leading company in health and wellness,” Bellis, who is preparing to play in this month's Australian Open, said in a statement. “Their products are of great quality all the way around and will help me maximise my potential on the court and in the gym.”
Texas-based AdvoCare works with athletes and coaches across a range of professional sports including football, basketball, baseball and golf. It distributes its products in the United States through a network of around 300,000 independent distributors.
“As we continue to grow our presence in the sport of tennis, we are thrilled to add CiCi to our roster of product endorsers,” said Josh Watts, the company’s director of sponsorships.
“CiCi has demonstrated excellence on and off the court. We look forward to seeing her rise in the rankings during the 2018 season.”
