The Chinese Super League (CSL), China's top soccer division, has signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Red Bull.
Red Bull will become an official partner of the league as well as its official energy drink until the end of the 2016/17 soccer season.
Financial details of the deal were not announced.
“Through the official partnership with Red Bull which is the most successful energy drink brand globally, the CSL has added another strong official partner. The partnership with Red Bull will also further enhance the brand influence and brand value of the CSL," said Ma Chengquan, directing manager of the CSL.
