Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid have announced bookmaker ManBetX as a new regional Asian sponsor.
The deal follows that of another with sportsbook Tempobet, which will advertise during Real’s away league games.
The ManBetX agreement will see the global betting brand act as Los Blancos’ sponsor within the sports betting category for the next two years.
ManBetX, which is already La Liga’s Asian betting partner following a three-year deal struck in May, has other commitments in soccer including being the main shirt sponsor of English Premier League club Crystal Palace since 2017.
Real Madrid director Emilio Butragueño said: “It’s a great honour for us to link our name to such a highly prestigious international brand leader. This union will further enable us to move closer to our fans in Asia.”
Earlier this week, Julen Lopetegui’s side defeated Italian club Roma in their first Champions League game of the season as they search for an unprecedented fourth straight title.
