Scottish football club, Glasgow Rangers have signed two new deals. The team have signed a long-term sponsorship agreement with Swiss watch brand, Ebel, and extended their contract with Coca-Cola.

Under the deal, Ebel's logo will be displayed on the new digital scoreboards and clock at Ibrox Stadium. Rangers chief executive Martin Bain said: “International brands are now looking at football clubs that offer partnerships which go beyond local exposure. With Ebel, we have a company based in Switzerland with a global customer base; therefore they looked at Rangers appeal not only across the west of Scotland but also the United Kingdom, Europe, North America and the Middle East. Attached to this is a need for clubs to provide global brand owners with a more scientific approach to media evaluation and database segmentation.”

Ebel has also designed a limited edition watch featuring the Rangers insignia as part of the deal.

In a separate agreement, Coca-Cola has extended its sponsorship for three years. Under the deal, the soft drinks company will remain the Glasgow Rangers official drinks supplier and supporters will continue to benefit from a series of promotions and competitions with the brand. Both Ebel and Coca-Cola will also be advertised on the LED screens at Ibrox.

Length of contract: 3 years
Annualised value: US$1 million
